Peregrin Financial Technologies is not your typical, white-bread ATM vendor. In this period, Peregrin shipped thousands of terminals of various sorts, produced strong financials and has the deserved reputation for paying all residual fees and bills promptly. In the past, Peregrin developed self-service movie theater ticketing terminals for AMC Theaters and MovieFone; theme park ticketing terminals for Disneylandand Universal Studios; ski lift ticketing kiosks at Killington in Vermont and Bear Mountain and Squaw Valley in California, and admission ticketing at the U.S. National Parks of Yellowstone and Carlsbad Caverns.
Peregrin plans to become a major “Cash Logistics” vendor, providing products and services in addition to standard ATM transaction processing. It already provides Remote Data Capture which allows a merchant to deposit checks electronically, saving the time and effort of filling out deposit slips and carrying them to the bank or night deposit box. In many cases the merchant’s “deposit day” is extended the by two to three hours and the funds are available to the merchant one to two days earlier.
In the near future, with Peregrin’s patented new technologies being incorporated into its ATMs, merchants and financial institutions will rethink and revalue the utility of ATMs. These features, only available from Peregrin Financial Technologies, will provide locations, and equally important their customers, more utility and functions. They will eliminate the need for costly additional products and will increase the return rate of customers, bringing them back to trade more often at the merchant’s locations.
Peregrin Financial Technologies is named after the Peregrine falcon, a bird that has been admired for millennia. It can fly 180 miles per hour, is very maneuverable in pursuing its prey and has the eyesight of a human with eight-power binoculars.
